Students are expected to attend their exam at the scheduled time unless they receive prior administrative approval.  Click here to view a sample of the Final Examination Reschedule/Deferral Permission Form. Parents should call or email Mr. Rubin (mrubin@medway.k12.ma.us), Mrs. Pearl (dpearl@medway.k12.ma.us), or Dr. Dias (ddias@medway.k12.ma.us) seeking permission to reschedule their final exam. Teachers are not allowed to schedule retake times without administrator approval.

Once approved, students will be given the Final Examination Reschedule/Deferral Permission Form (on special paper) and have teachers indicate if they are deferring or rescheduling their exam. Teachers may defer their exam to the summer to maintain test security or if they may not have the exam ready prior to the student's absence. If a teacher defer the final exam, they will provide the main office with a copy of the test for administration over the summer. The student should call us to schedule a day and time to take the test.

Once the form is completed by teachers, it must be signed by the student and parent, and returned to the main office, and a copy provided to the student and guidance counselor.

If a student does not have a scheduled exam (i.e. Directed Study), they do not have to attend. But, if they are present in the building they will be expected to report to their scheduled room/assignment.
