PSAT October 16

Medway High School will administer the PSAT to all students in the Class of 2015 and 2016 on Wednesday, October 16. 

 

There is no cost to the student or family for the exam. The benefits of the PSAT/NMSQT are:

Improves teaching and learning

• Extensive data and reporting resources, including the Summary of Answers and Skills (SOAS) report, help educators identify skill gaps and improve instruction.

Supports college and career planning

• My College QuickStart™, a personalized online collegeand career planning kit, helps students search for colleges, explore majors and careers, and get a personalized SAT® study plan.

Increases participation in AP®

• The easy-to-use online AP Potential™tool identifies students likely to succeed in AP®, helping educators expand access to rigorous courses.

Prepares students for the SAT®

• On average, students who take the PSAT/NMSQT® score 146 points higher on the SAT than those who do not, and students who take the PSAT/NMSQT more than once score even higher.

Provides entry into scholarship programs
