Attention parents of students taking exams!
Over the past several weeks teachers have informed students that they must have their book or a check for the book's value in order to sit for their exams on the scheduled day (see earlier post for the schedule). Checks should be made out to Medway High School.
If a student has neither their book nor a check on the scheduled day of their final exam, they will be allowed to take their exam on the Make-up date of June 24.
If a student arrives with neither a book nor check, they will be allowed to call home so that you may drop the book off and they start the exam late.
We will hold the checks until July 1. If you find the book, please bring it in to the main office and we will simply give you back the check.
Last year there were several hundred obligations owed by students, most of them books, requiring multiple letters and emails during the summer. By implementing the expectation that all students turn in their book as the 'ticket' for their final, we hope students and parents can enjoy their summer without us calling.
