Medway Faculty Definition of Professionalism

Yesterday was the first Medway High staff meeting of the year. I invited secretaries and paraprofessionals to join teachers and administrators in an activity to help energize us for the coming year as well as help norm us on what the traits exhibited by us all in our role of professional educator at Medway High.

The ten groups created their own lists, and presented each to the assemblage.  I typed up the entire list, consisting of over 250 words, and created the Wordle, below. The larger the word, the more frequent it was in the list. Based on what I have seen and learned about Medway, there are no surprises. I am proud to be joining the school as principal!
